# EMF vs Temperature Tables

> Complete millivolt reference tables for Type K, N, J, T and E thermocouples per IEC 60584-1:2013. Cold junction at 0 °C.

## Using these tables

1. Confirm the reference junction is at 0 °C, or apply cold-junction compensation before comparing.
2. Look up the EMF at your process temperature in the table for the type actually installed.
3. Compare the reading against the tolerance band for the class of wire you are using before judging accuracy.

## Type K — Chromel / Alumel (IEC 60584-1)

EMF in mV for **Type K** (Chromel / Alumel). Reference junction at 0 °C. Tolerance: ±1.5 °C (0–375 °C), ±0.4% (375–1000 °C).
