RoHS & REACH Compliance Statement

Applicable to all thermocouple alloy conductors manufactured by RAS Thermal Co., Ltd.

Declaration: RAS Thermal Co., Ltd. hereby declares that all thermocouple alloy conductors (Type K, N, J, T, E — bare wire, stranded wire and alloy ingots / wire rod) manufactured at our facility comply with the substance restrictions of the EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU (including Delegated Directive (EU) 2015/863) and the registration, evaluation and authorisation requirements of EU REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006. This declaration is made in good faith based on material composition analysis and supplier declarations for all raw materials used in our manufacturing process.

Note: Our products are bare metal conductors without electrical/electronic sub-assembly. The metallic chromium in our alloys (e.g. Type K Chromel, Type N Nicrosil) is present as Cr&sup0;, not Cr&sup6;+. Chromium in metallic form is not restricted under RoHS.

2. REACH Compliance (Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006)

All substances contained in our thermocouple alloy conductors are registered under REACH where required by tonnage band.
No substance manufactured or imported by RAS Thermal appears on the REACH Candidate List of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) at concentrations exceeding 0.1% w/w.
No substance subject to Authorisation (REACH Annex XIV) is intentionally used in our manufacturing process.
No substance subject to Restriction (REACH Annex XVII) is present in our products above the specified concentration limits for the relevant application.
We maintain up-to-date Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemical substances used in manufacturing. SDS documents are available on request.

3. Conflict Minerals (Dodd-Frank Act Section 1502)

RAS Thermal does not source tin, tantalum, tungsten or gold (3TG) from the Democratic Republic of Congo or adjoining countries. Our raw material suppliers are audited annually for conflict mineral compliance.

5. Validity

This compliance statement is valid for all products manufactured from August 2026 until superseded. Updated statements are issued when regulatory changes occur or material composition changes are implemented.
